Welcome to the Year of the Pig

The Chinese traders began arriving in Thailand in the 17th century introducing noodles, soy sauce and their cooking methods to Thai culture and cuisine. The foods were quickly adapted, absorbed and fused into their already sophisticated and exotic range of deliciously aromatic dishes. Nowadays, you can find many noodle stands among the street food culture of Yaowarat, the Chinatown of old Bangkok. Here you can taste an overwhelming array of Chinese influenced dishes of seafood, pork, spring rolls, soup, dumplings and Tofu.

Sadly the whole neighbourhood is now under threat of redevelopment; the aromas and red lanterns, the teeming night street markets with its total overdose on the senses may soon be no more but you can still experience some of the many amazing dishes here at the Blue Lotus Supperclub.

For this supper club will be creating unique Thai dishes that have the symbolism of the Chinese lunar New Year.

There are several good luck foods we will include in our specially themed supper

**The set price is £38 per person.

**You are most welcome to bring your own wines to enjoy with the meal. We would recommend Colombard, Riesling (sweet or dry), Grüner Veltliner or lightly chilled red Beaujolais. Easier to find Sauvignon blanc, Chenin Blanc or Viognier would go equally as well.
Bottles of wine will also be available for purchase
