Celebrate St. Patrick’s Dinner with a delicious Indian Green themed Feast.
India is a cosmopolitan nation and home for people of many faiths and religions. There approximately 20 million Catholics in India and St. Patrick’s day is widely celebrated. St. Thomas and St. Xavier have their resting places in India and Pilgrims travel from far and wide to visit and pray at these sacred sites.
The connections don’t end there, the last mutiny in the British Army was recorded in the Punjab when the Connaught Rangers supported the Irish rebellion and turned on their superiors. Now, in more peaceful times when both India and Ireland have their independence Ireland has its first elected leader of Indian descent, Leo Varadkar.

**You are most welcome to bring your own wines to enjoy with the meal. We would recommend Colombard, Riesling (sweet or dry), Grüner Veltliner or lightly chilled red Beaujolais. Easier to find Sauvignon blanc, Chenin Blanc or Viognier would go equally as well.
